The work at autofocus Videowerkstatt e.V consists in the production and distribution of independent politically committed documentary films. Besides, we advise and support institutions and socio-politically committed initiatives that wish to draw attention to matters of their concern using participatory film.

Distribution

Autofocus distributes approximately 250 films, produced independently on a shoe-string/tight budget and with a lot of commitment and dedication. As a result, there have been few possibilities for distribution. We would like to offer education institutions and interested parties the possibility to see these films and to make use of them. We distribute films on  DVDs in the best possible quality based on the raw material available.

We are also happy to include socially committed film productions in our catalogue. We try to support independent documentary film makers working on such films by offering them the use of our equipment and helping them with distribution.
